Earning Loyalty Points
Here's How Our Loyalty Point Scheme Works:
Shop Regularly
Simply place regular order to earn your points. The more you spend with us each quarter the more points you can earn. Progress to different levels. Don't forget to check out our "Levels of Points" section to find out how to progress through the levels.
Earn Rewards
Shop each quarter and with every order you place you'll earn Loyalty Points to spend like real money on anything online. You'll also enjoy some really special offers too!
Remember
You need to keep spending to keep your Loyalty Point Level. If you don't make our qualification level in a quarter you will drop down a level.
Reminder
You can easily keep track of your Loyalty Point balance by visiting the "My Account" page online.
Spending Points
You can start spending your Loyalty Points as soon as you register with us as you get 100 points once you register. Save up your Loyalty Points and use them, just like real money, to treat yourself or a loved one to something really great.
Spending your Loyalty Points is simple! All you have to do is click the "Redeem Loyalty Points" button on the basket page before you checkout. Doing this will take the value of the loyalty points off your order and reduce the amount that you need to pay. If ordering by phone just let us know if you want to use your Loyalty Points and we will redeem them for you. It couldn't be easier than that!
Levels of Points
There are a total of 5 levels of points where you can earn up to 5 points for every £1 spent and they are:
- Bronze Level - this is the level that you get just for registering with us and you will earn 1 point for every £1 spent.
- Silver Level - to qualify for this level you need to spend £100 with us in each of 2 consecutive quarters. Anyone at this level will get 2 points for every £1 spent.
- Gold Level - to qualify for this level you need to spend £100 with us in each of 4 consecutive quarters. Anyone at this level will get 3 points for every £1 spent.
- Platinum Level - to qualify for this level you need to spend £100 with us in each of 5 consecutive quarters. Anyone at this level will get 4 points for every £1 spent.
- Platinum Plus Level - to get this level you need to be at Platinum Level and be in our top 5 spenders in a quarter and then you will get 5 points for every £1 spent.
So it pays to shop with The Knitting Shop as the more you spend with us the more you will save!
Bonus Points
On top of your regular points there are also ways in which you can earn bonus Loyalty Points to boost your total. Some of the ways you can earn Bonus Points are:
Registration
Register with The Knitting Shop and you will get 100 Loyalty Points added to your account to spend on anything you like.
Product Bonus Points
Look out for products with the "Bonus Points" symbol and you will get then added to your account when you buy. Details of the number of points you get with every purchase will be outlined to the right of the image of that product.
Special Promotions
We run regular promotions throughout the year where you can earn bonus points by spending certain amounts with us for a specified period. When we have a new promotions we will detail it here plus make sure you get our newsletter to be the first to find out about any special promotions that we run.
Refer a Friend
Introduce a friend to The Knitting Shop and earn bonus points. Here is how it works:
- Tell all your friends about us and tell them the email address you used to register on our site.
- Your friend registers on our site and puts your email in the "Referer's Email" box on the registration form.
- Your friend spends £30 or more with us.
- You and your friend each get awarded 150 loyalty points.
You can spend your points on anything you want and there is no limit to the number of friends you can introduce. So get 10 friends to order with us and you will end up having 1500 points which is equal to £15 to spend on our site. If you tell everyone you know and get 50 friends to register and spend £30 with us you will get the equivalent of £75 in points to spend. So what are you waiting for, get referring!

A quarter refers to a calendar quarter and so there are 4 in a year: 1st January to 31st March; 1st April to 30th June; 1st July to 30th September; and 1st October to 31st December.

No, you can keep you loyalty points for as long as you like. This means you can save for something special if you want.

You need to keep spending with us to ensure you do not drop back a level. If you do not spend with us in a quarter then you will be dropped down a level. So remember to always come to us first to ensure you get the maximum savings available.

Loyalty Point rules
The Loyalty Point level that customers can earn is determined by their period of continuous shopping. Customers will be advised of any changes to their Loyalty Point level.
Any Loyalty Points earned may not be redeemed until the customer has placed an further order with The Knitting Shop.
Customers who spend £100 for two consecutive quarters will be promoted to Silver level, customers who spend £100 for four consecutive quarters will be promoted to Gold level, customers who spend £100 for five consecutive quarters will be promoted to Platinum level. The top five spending Platinum Level customers, in a quarter, will be promoted to Platinum Plus Level. Customers who fail to shop during a quarter will be moved to the next lower Loyalty Points level, where applicable.
Loyalty Points are earned with The Knitting Shop, which reserves the right to vary or withdraw the Loyalty Points Scheme at any time without giving notice.
The Loyalty Points levels are Bronze where customers can earn 1 point for every £1 spent, Silver where customers can earn 2 points for every £1 spent, Gold where customers can earn 3 points for every £1 spent, Platinum where customers can earn 4 points for every £1 spent and Platinum Plus where customers can earn 5 points for every £1 spent. Loyalty Points can be used to spend against future purchases.
Further rules may apply to a specific Loyalty Points level(s) and any such rules may be communicated separately to the customers in that Loyalty points level(s).
