This very delicate shawl is worked form the top down and the pattern is written out and charted for ease. It requires a delicate yarn like a mohair blend. We would recommend Catherine Earnshaw Super Kid Silk and you will need approximately 1000m or 5 balls.

Really looking forwards to knitting this item (decided it'll be a winter project once I've done some more Forces' mittens! I'd love to see if there are any more Faroese style shawl patterns available.
