This is a slightly firm yarn, so I found it a bit harder to work with than some chunky yarns at first, but you do get used to it. The structure of the yarn means it would really show off a pattern to maximum effect, as you can clearly see the stitches. The colour is also a bit more red than it looks in the picture. On my computer screen it looks almost cerise pink, but in reality it's a post box red. The colour is good and deep though, so I'm not disappointed at all.
