Getting Started
Many people love the idea of knitting but have no idea of where to begin. In this section we will take you through some of the basics so that you can begin your knitting. Some of the things covered including learning what a stitch is as well as how to hold the needles. We will also consider some basic techniques like testing your tension, how to cast on and off and also the basic knit and purl stitches. In later sections we will consider more complicated elements to knitting. However if you can master this section then the rest becomes simpler and you will find you quickly progress.
